The car vaporiser

The car vaporiser is also called an evaporator is an integral part of the air conditioning unit in a car. It is usually situated deep within the instrument dashboard. Many evaporators and car vaporisers are made of aluminium and they in fact look like small radiators. The vaporiser consists of a series of internal tubes with fins that are attached to them. These fins allow air to pass over a large surface area and increase cooling. The tubes and passages found in a vaporiser carry refrigerant which assists the cooling processes of the air conditioning in a car.

When the car vaporiser is leaking

Like a radiator, a vaporiser can develop a leak and might need replacement. This can often be determined if the air conditioning unit that is not working. Alternatively you can ask your servicing dealer to check the status of the car vaporiser. If it is found to be faulty, simply go online and punch in the year model, make and engine size of your car and then select and purchase the vaporiser that you require. Don’t be worried if when you have the air conditioning on in the car, you see droplets of water being emitted underneath the car. This is simply the excess condensation that is developed in the cooling system and let out through a release pipe.

The car vaporiser is great for cooling

All vehicles that utilise an air conditioning unit have a car vaporiser to assist in the process of cooling within the system. If you want to make sure you have the coolest possible air blowing in your car at all times, then ensure that your vaporiser unit is functioning correctly.
