Car Solenoid Switches – Starting Your Vehicle

"A car will not go far if it can't start ". A car will not start without a starter motor and a starter motor will not start without a car solenoid switch. Hence, the car solenoid switch is amongst the most important parts of the vehicle, demanding constant maintenance and attention. Thankfully solenoids are normally not very expensive to replace. The trick is, however, replacing car solenoid switches before they need changing, else you may find yourself stranded in a very awkward situation, without any means of starting your vehicle."

Signs a Solenoid Needs Changing

The most obvious sign car solenoid switches are not working is the car not starting, or having difficulty starting. Although the problem may be related to other issues, the solenoid is an obvious culprit. If you notice these symptoms get the vehicle to a mechanic as soon as possible, or look for the replacement part online, since once car solenoid switches fail entirely the vehicle will have to be towed and this, as we all know, is not a cheap service.
