What is a flywheel?

A flywheel is a rotating device which stores rotational energy. The flywheel benefits from a phenomenon called moment of inertia and can resist changes in the rotational speed of a vehicle. The energy is often transferred to the flywheel using torque which increases the rotational speed. We sell the highest quality OEM flywheels for all vehicles by manufacturers such as SACHS, and FEBI BILSTEIN among numerous others.

How to know something is wrong?

One of the things you'll instantly notice if there is a problem with the flywheel is that the car will have a problem picking up speed. You may also notice that it's hard to change gears. If the flywheel is cracked or bent, you may hear a grinding noise. If you notice any of these problems with your vehicle make sure to take it to a certified mechanic. The mechanic should be able to diagnose the problem and if required recommend replacing the flywheel and possibly associated parts. Fortunately, replacing the flywheel is not a difficult job for an experienced mechanic.

We sell the best parts

At 123spareparts.co.uk, the flywheels we sell are of the highest quality, have been extensively tested and come backed by the manufacturer's warranty. So, you can be assured of investing in a high-quality part. That said because all vehicles use different size flywheels it is always a good idea to buy one by matching the part number on your existing flywheel to the list provided above. But if you still have problems finding the right one then feel free to get in touch with us right away.
